Invest plan for aerospace NTN Europe

NTN Europe is undertaking  a major investment to develop its Argonay production site in France, dedicated to the aerospace industry. The aim is to keep pace with accelerating demand from the sector, and to enable this strategic activity to grow by 40% by 2030.

Investment to modernise our industrial facilities and move towards Factory 4.0

In the current economic and geopolitical context, the aeronautics industry is facing new challenges:

  • The sharp rise in demand,
  • Faster production rates,
  • Securing the supplier chain...

In response, NTN Europe is rolling out an ambitious transformation and investment plan to support the development of the site's production capacity and transform working practices.

Michel Barria - Directeur aéronautique NTN Europe
"In this context, the quality of our solutions is no longer enough: our customers, industry leaders, expect us to deliver ever greater competitiveness and performance. We're going one step further by providing them with a 360° customer approach to meet their challenges,"
Michel Barria, Aerospace Sales & Marketing Director.

This investment runs until 2030 and is structured around 3 axes:

  • Modernising the digital ecosystem,
  • Developing cutting-edge industrial processes
  • Promoting man-machine collaboration to enhance competitiveness.

In other words, this plan aims to produce more, better and faster thanks to the opportunities offered by Factory 4.0, which integrates intelligent digital technologies into industrial production (AI, robotics, automation, etc.).

Our teams will be assisted in their tasks by robots, cobots and artificial intelligence, so that they can concentrate on their core expertise",
Florian Eggenspieler, Director of the Argonay plant.

The creation of 100 jobs in France

This growth dynamic will be supported by around a hundred new recruits in France. This represents a 20% increase in the Aeronautical Division's workforce, which currently stands at 580.

Already committed to an active training and integration policy, the division regularly recruits through the LEARN programme, with 3 recruitment sessions a year to train and integrate people in machining, grinding and assembly.
