NTN-SNR introduces the crankshaft bearing labelled Solar Impulse Efficient Solution

NTN-SNR has demonstrated that a state-of-the-art bearing reduces friction losses while still being competitive compared with a hydrodynamic bearing. In partnership with a leading car manufacturer, a first crankshaft bearing known as "journal" has been developed. The project has gone through many stages including design, calculation, prototyping, functional validation and reliability tests.

NTN-SNR pursues the roll-out of CM internal clearance on its range of Deep-Groove Ball Bearings

In step with a process launched last year, CM internal clearance is now spreading to the whole range of deep-groove ball bearings. NTN-SNR confirms its premium positioning thanks to a noise level reduced by half and an excellent control of the manufacturing process. Every part we manufacture is inspected.
